In the final part of our Brick Lane Series, we have put together an independent video guide to Brick Lane.
The video shows where you can find some great independent shops in the area, including vintage clothes stores, record shops and gift shops. We have also looked at the independent food establishments, from the sizzling street food to the vast array of independent restaurants and curry houses that Brick Lane is famous for.
This short film features an interview with a local vintage shop owner; see us talk to Ian Bodenham from Hunky Dory Vintage about what it’s like running an independent business in the area. And a big thank you to Monsoon Restaurant for giving us a tour and telling us all about the cuisine on offer at this family run independent restaurant, in this extremely competitive area. We would also like to thank all the businesses who took part in the video.
We hope this video provides a real glimpse into the vibe this area holds and inspires those who have never been to go and check out this vibrant district, full of independent stores and eateries.
